So Many People? Sounds almost Punk!

It's been a while since I've heard some grinding industrial. There's definitely a feeling of Celldweller about this band, at least in the early stages. It certainly isn't dark however dirty and synthesized the backing track is. "So Many People" sadly doesn't stay grinding. The vocals are higher pitched than I'd like. Perhaps I'll wait till the lead singer has smoked a few more tobacco plantations. The lyrics are certainly anti-establishment which is perhaps a plus but there isn't really any rage behind them.

The heavy riff's continue with "Crazy Sheila", with some screaming, heavily distorted bridges and fillers but the song format is that of a sing-along ballad. It shouldn't be happy. It shouldn't remind me of Emo because it isn't but this is what this song does to me. The ending took my by surprise with a very cheerful and, dare I say it, jolly ending riff.

"Until I die" keeps in the same vein; lots of chorusing with a happy edge to it, over the top of some grinding, distorted guitar. Throughout the single, there are hints of techno here and there, possibly even a little rap influence? It's certainly not a band jumping on the Emo bandwagon thats for sure.
