Biography
The Killers release their new single, All These Things That I've Done, on Lizard King Records on August 30th. Lifted from the Las Vegas quartet's Gold-selling, Top 10-charting and very fittingly-titled debut album Hot Fuss, the release of All These Things... comes on the heels of a stupendous sold-out show at London's Astoria and a Glastonbury performance that saw crowds 20 rows deep clamouring to get inside the New Tent, and after a long, hot fuss of a summer full of Festival appearances that will culminate at V Festival a week prior to its release. That week also sees The Killers head up a London show, this time at the Forum on August 23rd.
The fantastically uplifting set-closer in The Killers' awesome recent live shows, All These Things... sees The Killers joined by The Sweet Inspirations, the LA-based gospel choir who have also historically performed/recorded with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix and (oh yes) Elvis Presley.
All These Things That I've Done will be available on CD and 7" featuring All These Things... plus a cover of Morrissey song, Why Don’t You Find Out For Yourself, recorded for a Radio session earlier this year.
Following their sold-out show at London's Astoria on July 8th, The Killers took in performances at Oxegen and T In The Park before heading back to the States for a West Coast tour. Things are hotting up very much for the boys in their homeland, too - Hot Fuss debuted at a pretty darned tasty 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and their profile continues to soar big-time since their festival debut at Coachella and subsequent prestigious slot at KROQ's annual Weenie Roast, amongst others. After these shows they're off to play their first show in Japan, at the Fujirock Festival at the end of July.
