Biography

Based in the Midlands, LunarMile was founded by vocalist Toni-Marie and guitarist Tom Williams in 2003.

The band's style is unique, yet contains clear rock influences from bands from Led Zeppelin and The Stones to Queen, No Doubt and Muse. The resulting mix is a breathtaking kaleidoscope of classic and modern, heavy rock and pop.

Live performances throughout the West Midlands at venues including JBs (Dudley), Edwards No. 8 (Birmingham) and Cox's Yard (Stratford), as well as further afield in London, Liverpool and Swindon, have generated a lot of interest in the band.

LunarMile recently made it to the West Midlands finals in the hunt for 'Regional Band Of The Year 2005' as chosen by Kerrang! Radio and Carlsberg, and also supported Glenn Hughes on numerous dates during his UK tour in 2005.

Tom and Toni-Marie were joined by bassist Alex Hill and drummer Rob Stimpson from the band The Gravel in 2005.
