Biography

Breed 77, the London based Brit rockers whose innovative melding of flamenco guitar with blistering riffs has already won them a considerable following in the UK, continue their inexorable, blazing path to rock superstardom when they follow up their debut Top 40 hit single ‘The River’ with ‘Worlds On Fire’, the second single to be taken from their highly acclaimed new ‘Cultura’ album, on July 26th.

‘Worlds On Fire’, released on Albert Productions, marketed and distributed by Vital, will be available on 3 formats – a 2 track CD, coupled with a brand new exclusive track, ‘Tomorrow’, a stunning DVD and as a limited red coloured 7” vinyl. The video for the song, which has already been added to Kerrang! And Scuzz TV’s playlists, will be included on the DVD single, along with a new video of ‘Eyes That See’ (Live in Portugal), 2 wallpapers and album tour photos. The 7” single will be backed with the exclusive track ‘Un Lugar Seguro (A Safe Place)’.

‘Cultura’, which charted nationally at 61 and has now shipped over 15,000 copies, with more than 10,000 sold over the counter already, was universally acclaimed on release at the beginning of May. “Touched by, and tinged with, the brushstrokes of master musicians who are finding their range and releasing years of pent-up frustration” wrote Malcolm Dome in Metal Hammer’s June 2004 issue.
