Biography

North West metal band, SevenYearsDead recorded ‘postrendgeneration’ EP in February 2003 shortly after the recruitment of G on bass. Their sound is a blistering mixture of new and old metal influences, from Pantera and Black Label Society, to Slipknot and Love/Hate. Heavy-as-lead riffs coupled with emotive harmonies and powerful lyrics combine to give SevenYearsDead a truly original and refreshingly unique sound. As dedicated as they are talented and enthusiastic, they are striving to populate the world with their vision of brutal, honest metal; music that delivers passion, strength and belief.

The band is now booked into Parr St. studios in Liverpool to record their next offering, taking the next step forward in quality and dedication, and will release the five-track mini album in September. Kicking off the promotion of the CD is a slot on day 2 of Bloodstock ’04. The band are eager for bigger and better things in the latter half of 2004, and believe the exposure at Bloodstock is just what they need to take them where they deserve to be.
