Soil started in 1997 in Chicago. They released their first album and EP independently through Mia Records just before the company went under. J Records picked them up in 2001 and at that point they were the only metal band on this label. Soil have released two albums through J so far, 'Throttle Junkies' was produced by Steve Albini. read less
