Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved
You can’t follow This Love. Seriously. It’s just a perfect pop song, with its groovy guitars and incredibly catchy chorus. It’s a shame, because the band’s latest single, She Will Be Loved, is a fairly decent song. As usual with Maroon 5, the chorus is genuinely memorable, with a soaring vocal melody and an uplifting feel throughout. The opening is strangely reminiscent of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in one of their mellower moods.
But, put simply, it’s just not as good as the previous single. It’s still a fair tune, and you’ll probably end up humming it in the streets, but it’s still not quite a worthy successor.
