Simple to understand?
Smother and this single really made it. The vocals are perfect; the music is catchy and has some kind of mystery in it. This is a pure English rock sound. Without being heavy, the music is full of power and you really get into it straight after the first notes.
There is no comparison to make with any other band; they have their very own particular style. The second track on the single is quite disappointing, as it does not have the same energy as 'Understand'. It is a simple tune without real personality.
The last track is a remix of the first one. I am quite ashamed to admit that it is pretty good as remixes are occasionally but it's just another way to put an extra track on a CD when the band does not have anything else. Overall, an excellent single!
