This single is one for the fans.
In 'Children's Children' Agent Blue have crafted a model of challenging melancholy. They show great confidence in the way the vocalise the number against a backdrop of nerve twitching guitars, set amongst an approaching thunderstorm of drums. There is a poetic vein that runs through this number, and although the lyrics are simplified they hit the songs message home like a hammer.
'Children's Children' is a brilliantly executed number, however it may not be the one to pull in a host of new fans. Agent Blue devotees will love it though.
