Die Another Day

As I'm walking towards the tent I'm met with some of the heaviest riffs I've heard so far this weekend. Granted, when it veers toward the metal end of the spectrum it isn't normally my thing, but Every Time I Die weave metal around some of the punkiest bass licks. It's all cleverly interlaced and at times reminds me of Slayer. A winner by anyone's standards.

They've pulled a big crowd too, which is impressive seeing as it looked like everybody had gone to the main stage for Bowling For Soup. Perhaps though, Bowling For Soup are a little weak for the hardcore festies milling around the Snickers Stage who are after something on the heavier side. This is total moshing music. High octane rumblings that makes the ground shake. Even I'm tempted to go and punch something.
