Sunday Indie Kick-Back
Having drawn the largest crowd I've seen this weekend in the Napster tent, this promised to be quite a show. This is a band you hear about everywhere at the moment. Their particular brand of indie-rock is very hip, very UK, very now. It's a pity they weren't playing on Friday really.
They look very pretty and sound excellent. They finish their set with their latest single "Heartbreaker" as the dirty guitar riffs get you dancing. For a band that may not be best suited to the festival they worked quite well - something that The Glitterati should take as a compliment, considering that they were certainly one of the most commercial sounding bands of the weekend, bar Garbage.
These boys are obviously on the verge of being massive. Just check out how many people are here. The Glitterati justify it though - they are a really tight band that sound like they're having fun and they're just cute enough to attract a hoarde of screaming girl fans - all the ingredients of the perfect pop band.
