The Offering

Having started their set with some kind of Indian singing, it built up to such a suspense that by the time the guitars kicked in, the audience was about to explode with impatience. There have been whisperings all day about how Lamb Of God are a band worth checking out.

Epic sounds fill the tent. Everything about Lamb of God seems to be on a grand scale. The sound fills the entire tent and far beyond to the point that some of the bass riffs practically made my throat resonate in time with the music. You've gotta admire any artist that isn't afraid to compose such massive sounds.

This has got to be the epitome of mosh music- it's heavy, aggressive, although not necessarily dark. The guitar solos are pretty cheesy and predictable, but the bass riffs ring true.
