Biography

InMe are Dave McPherson/vocals & guitar, Joe Morgan/bass & backing vocals and Simon Taylor/drums. From the UK.

Dave, Simon and Joe have known each other for years (Joe and Dave met at school when they were 4 years old), and as such, InMe are not just a close knit band, but lifelong friends. This fact is evident in their music in that the band members' immense understanding of each other brings a level of maturity to their songs not often heard in a band this young. It is this natural bond between them, both personally and musically, that is the key to the passion and honesty behind everything InMe does.

Dave McPherson is a true enigma. A bold statement to make about a shy 20 year old, but nevertheless a true one. The self-taught singer/guitarist writes his thoughtful lyrics from the soul, venting all that haunts him, while vocally, he expresses himself with everything from screams and growls to soft, angelic falsettos. Ask him where it all comes from and you get only a shrug accompanied by the thoughtful look of an individual who knows exactly what motivates them, but can not (or will not) verbalize their thoughts in anything but a song. And that he does.
