Biography

Formed in 2002 by the instrumentalists of Rage Against The Machine - Tom Morello [Guitar], Timmy C [Bass] and Brad Wilk [Drums] - and Soundgarden's vocalist, Chris Cornell, Audioslave have only released one album so far, the originality-challenged "Audioslave" (2002). Primarily sounding like Rage Against The Machine, minus the rapping, their first single, "Cochise", caused quite a smash with critics and general music fans alike, but the follow-ups, "Like a Stone" and "Show Me How To Live" have failed to live up to the standards set by the first one. read less
